With Next Business Energy’s “Smart Billing” options, you can tailor your billing requirements once and for all. Next Business Energy’s core billing systems stem from years of experience in the complex telecommunication billing world – so we understand the billing requirements that businesses need. The flexibility in options on both presentation, data design and delivery. No longer do you need to fit your business in to the giant systems of our competitors, now you can almost bespoke your billing requirements for your energy usage.
Multi-site Smart Billing
For larger multi-site customers. A first for the electricity industry, Next Business Energy has developed a unique new product called “Smart Billing”. Smart Billing is designed for significantly larger multi-site customers (typically over 20 to more than 1,000 sites) whereby we can invoice via a number of options, including via a Master Account with site bills sent to each location as a “Do Not Pay”, master account with site bills payable by site and a detailed electronic format of all these options. We also can also provide, where applicable, “Smooth Pay” functionality where we provide monthly billing and a quarterly reconciled invoice.

David has more than 35 years senior management experience in utilities in UK, Australia and Asia Pacific. During the last 20+ years in Australia, David has been responsible for the establishment of the electricity retail and energy services business of one of Australia’s largest energy companies, the founder of a successful electricity retailer based in Queensland and has assisted with a number of successful retail licence applications in various jurisdictions. In addition to providing energy industry advice, David has undertaken many consulting projects with the market operators, accounting firms and energy retailing and smart metering companies based in VIC, TAS, NSW and QLD. David is a co-founder of Next Business Energy and initially ran the business operations and put in place a strong platform for compliance and growth.

Sanjay has held various Senior positions in the Energy sector including working both in the private and Government sectors working at Yallourn Energy, TRUenergy and Aurora Energy/AETV Power.
Sanjay’s responsibilities have included managing gas fired generation, Generation Tolling Agreements, large C&I gas customers, Wholesale Trading functions (spot & contract) and the procurement of electricity & gas (supply & transportation) wholesale products.
